elaina is genderfluid and uses she/her/they/them. ame is nonbinary and uses they/them. please try your best to gender correctly! if you are new to this, we understand it takes a lot of daily practice to use they/them. if you make a mistake, simply correct yourself and continue the conversation! it is better to correct yourself and move on than to over-apologize and make a fuss in the middle of talking. this also applies when talking to others *about* the newly weds and not just to elaina and ame themselves. elaina does not personally mind being gendered female by close friends and family.
