Ethan and Gary met over a memorably unfortunate phone call while Ethan was training in California and Gary was standing Duty at EODMU FIVE in Guam. Since that fateful conversation, they have been 'eternally' linked through multiple deployments and EOD Commands.
Jason Blush

Ethan and Jason met in Brighton High School Spanish class where they became better Euchre players than Spanish speakers. In early 2017, the pair hit the slopes of Big Sky; clueless to both at the time, the mountains of MT would nudge Ethan closer to Kelly in the weeks ahead. In poetic fashion, it was Jason who was eagerly waiting at the famous Montana Jack's bar following the Big Sky proposal!

While we all endured various forms of COVID-19 lockdowns, Rachel navigated German corona restrictions with the bride [i.e., sneaking across the street for neighborly taco + marg nights, under the cover of darkness to avoid the Polizei]. Although it wasn't the storybook 'European adventure,' the bride would do it again the same way if it meant meeting Rachel. In the meantime, we'll create our own version of the Deutsch 'fest experience' in Big Sky!

Ethan and Jeremy's friendship formed over years of playing ice hockey and a love for Michigan State University athletics. Prior to the Big Sky bash, Jeremy + his beautiful wife Rebecca will have welcomed the third addition to their Briggs Sparty tribe of five. What a year to celebrate together. GO GREEN!

When Kelly asked Kennedy to be her junior bridesmaid, she debated whether or not to consider volleyball kneepads + fashion-forward ribbon braids as acceptable dress code. As the couple's favorite niece, they're delighted 'K2' could take a weekend off from 'spiking + blocking' to stand at Aunt Kelly's side!
Natasha Hobson
Bridesmaid (In Absentia)
While Kelly was away on business in Boston, Natasha was busy meeting (+ vetting) Ethan over biers and talk of Big Sky, MT at Commonwealth Brewery in Virginia Beach. Thank God for good bier and better friends. Full disclosure: Kelly still owes Natasha her finders fee.
