[30 June 2022 Update] We kindly request that guests RSVP on or before 31 July**. We understand airfares have been absolutely nightmarish and trying to plan a trip has proven even more difficult than usual. Please reach out to Kelly or Ethan if you have any questions or need any assistance with your trip itinerary/reservations!
Short answer is no, there is no strict dress code; simply business casual. However, given that we will be celebrating in the mountains of Montana, we are recommending a 'dress attire option.' For anyone who has seen the popular TV show 'Yellowstone,' think John Dutton / Beth Dutton. For those unfamiliar, think 'country western business casual.' Indulge us: For GUESTS at the wedding (not in wedding party/immediate family): Gentlemen: cowboy hats + boots, bolo ties, leather belts / big buckles, pearl snapped shirts, etc. are encouraged. Ladies: cowgirl hats + boots, leather belts / big buckles, leather jackets, fringe detail, etc. are encouraged. **Most, if not all, of the wedding party + family members will be changing after the ceremony into more casual/Montana-ish attire. So, GUESTS: go ahead + buy those boots, hats, bolo ties, belt buckles, etc!!!
Plan for a 60-90 minute drive. Once out of the Bozeman/Belgrade area [where the airport is], the majority of the drive is a winding road along the Gallatin River. Be aware there is a "dead zone" [no cell-phone service] portion of the trip as well.
Big Sky, MT has become a very popular summer destination and we recognize this event falls on a holiday weekend. While there are a variety of hotels in the area, we recommend Airbnb or VRBO [to include group rentals] for the most reasonable lodging options. Any hotel block codes will be listed via the 'travel + lodging' drop-down menu. Be sure that we will actively work with guests to secure reasonably-priced, comfortable lodging!
Kids are welcome at the ceremony. We are kindly asking for a "kid-free" reception to give parents the opportunity to let their hair down!
There will be a private shuttle [Karst Stage Shuttles] available for guests after the reception. The shuttle will pick-up @ the Riverhouse Grill at 10-10:15pm. Please see the "Travel + Lodging' tab for additional details
Free parking is available at both the ceremony and reception. After the reception, there will be an option to park your vehicle at the Riverhouse Grill overnight, take the private shuttle to one of its drop-off locations, and then retrieve your vehicle in the morning.
We will not require guests to wear masks at the ceremony or reception (outdoors).
