Gilbert loves to bring up that Rachel dumped him in 7th grade. We dated very briefly, and were as unserious as 7th grade relationships get. But life (and Tinder) brought us back together in early 2020. Between 7th grade and 2020 Rachel’s daughter, Trinity was born on June 12, 2010 and Gilbert lived in Alvin for a while before moving back to the Corpus Christi area. Since February 7, 2020 when Gilbert asked Rachel to be his girlfriend (again) we have begun building a beautiful life to be proud of. Gilbert has stepped up as step-dad to Trinity without hesitation, teaching her how to drive and taking her on adventures. We welcomed our son, Spencer, on December 29, 2020, and our daughter, Sydney, on January 24, 2023. We have withstood the ups and downs of newborn days, the joys and challenges that come with parenting, lay-offs and promotions, all within the six years of our relationship. Our love is unfaltering, in the good times and the bad, and our marriage will serve as a continuation of our dedication to love each other through all of life’s moments. We appreciate each and every one of you who has shown up and supported us along the way and we can’t wait to share our special day with you.
