SLO has a desert climate. You can expect days to be warm and sunny, with average high in the low 70s. But once the sun goes down the temperature will drop quite a bit, to average lows in the mid-40s. So don’t be fooled by the fact that you are traveling to California, you will need warm clothes for the evening. A sweater, fall jacket, scarf, and light gloves are recommended. Both the welcome reception and the wedding will have portions outdoors after the sun has set. We will have blankets and heaters at both, but you should come prepared for the chill!
We love your kids, but we also want you to have the wedding night off! We're arranging for babysitting at the venue to make it easier for you to relax. They'll be right upstairs and you can check on them anytime. Kiddos are welcome at the welcome party and brunch.
Any one you like! We have agreements with them all, and they are all within a few minutes walk from each other. They each have their own unique feel, amenities, and price level: Apple Farm is charming, The Kinney is hip, the La Quinta nice and straightforward. You should, of course, feel free to stay somewhere else entirely if it is a better fit for you.
Nope! :)
