Things to do

Eat, drink and be happy! Try out some of our (Eileen's - LOL) favorite spots.

Eddy Street Commons

South Bend, IN 46617

Right next to the hotel block (and Notre Dame's campus). Eddy Street Commons has lots of options to fast grab food (Jimmy John's, Five Guys, Chipotle, Noodles), options for coffee (Starbucks, Purely Pressed), or more sit down lunch/dinner spots (Brother's Bar and Grille, O'Rourke's, Jinya Ramen, BRU Burger). There's also the Notre Dame bookstore for some ND gear as a souvenir!

Barnaby's South Bend

713 East Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, IN 46617

Great pizza spot, not too far from the hotel block

The Lauber

504 East Lasalle Avenue, South Bend, IN 46617

American food- think sandwiches, burgers, bomb nachos. More towards the downtown area of South Bend, an easy uber ride!

Crooked Ewe Brewery & Ale House

1047 Lincolnway East, South Bend, IN 46601

Great lunch/dinner spot close by to where we will tie the knot!

Howard Park Public House

602 East Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, IN 46617

Good spot for lunch or brunch! In the downtown South Bend area

Fiddler's Hearth

127 North Main Street, South Bend, IN 46601

Irish pub vibes

Taphouse On The Edge

1803 South Bend Avenue, South Bend, IN 46637

Martin's Supermarket

2081 South Bend Avenue, South Bend, IN 46637

If you grew up going to Grammy and Papa's house in the summer... you already KNOW a staple is a Martin's donut. Yes it's a supermarket but I have yet to find a better donut and I've been to like 15+ countries. 10/10 recommend

The Early Bird Eatery

117 East Wayne Street, South Bend, IN 46601

Breakfast/lunch spot downtown!

Chicory Cafe

105 East Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, IN 46601

Good coffee shop downtown

Linebacker Lounge

1631 South Bend Avenue, South Bend, IN 46617

An absolute STAPLE stop in South Bend if you need a drink one night. fun fact I got on the news outside this bar when the ND women's basketball team won the national championship and then called out of work "sick" the next day... and yes my boss did watch the news

Madison Oyster Bar

129 North Main Street, South Bend, IN 46601

TBH I'm surprised this place still exists because at one point it was fully carpeted and it smelled like stale beer and I'm 99% sure one night my college friends and I broke past the bouncer because a few of us lost our IDs tailgating. Anyways I still love this bar and likely will be making a stop here at some point
