Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love all of our family and friends' children, we kindly request this be an adult-only wedding. We hope that you will understand and we very much hope you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited. Please do not bring a guest unless your RSVP explicitly includes one. Thank you for understanding!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request that all guests RSVP by August 1, 2024.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony and reception is cocktail attire. We encourage cocktail-, midi-, or floor-length dresses / jumpsuits, as well as light suits (tie optional).

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! The Dunes Pavilion has plenty of parking should you choose to drive. If necessary, you can leave your car in the parking lot overnight but please be advised you will need to pay the State Park fee to get your car the next day.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle that will take guests from the Hilton Garden Inn to the venue and back. Please note that Uber and Lyft are not readily available in this area.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Chicago O'Hare and Chicago Midway are the closest major airports. All major airlines fly to Chicago O'Hare, which is roughly an hour and fifteen minute drive from Chesterton. If you don't want to fly into Chicago, the South Bend International Airport is also an option.

What should I do if my plans have changed after I have RSVP'd?

Answer

Please let the bride or groom know as soon as possible! There are specific deadlines with some vendors, so accurate head counts are important.
