Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE)

The Milwaukee Airport is the closest airport to downtown, and an Uber or Lyft from the airport is surprisingly affordable. Renting a car is an option of course, but all of the wedding events and hotels are downtown and very accessible by foot or cab (Cab meaning Uber or Lyft. We wouldn't recommend Taxis in Milwaukee - ask Joey for the story)

Flight

O'Hare International Airport (ORD)

Oftentimes flying into Chicago offers the most affordable flight options, and if you are planning on renting a car this would be an excellent option. It is roughly a two hour drive from the airport to Downtown Milwaukee. O'Hare can still be an option without a car, as there is a bus that goes straight from the airport to the Milwaukee Intermodel Station, which is at the heart of downtown. Effie used this bus system consistently while living in MKE, and can personally vouch for its cleanliness, safety, and timeliness.
