Things To Do

If you have any free time while in town, here some recommendations for our favorite places to eat and things to do. Definitely reach out if you are looking for something specific, we have ideas for everything!

Milwaukee Public Market

400 North Water Street, Milwaukee, WI 53202
, (414) 336-1111

This place is super close to the hotels, and is a great place to go if you don't know what you want to eat. They have everything from tacos to baked goods to seafood. It is great for some quick snacks, drinks, desserts or a whole meal!

Stubby's Gastrogrub & Beer Bar

2060 North Humboldt Boulevard, Milwaukee, WI 53212
, (414) 763-6324

We cannot recommend this place enough! We have brunched and lunched and dined here so many times. It's an easy going place with a huge tap list and casual but delicious pub food.

Lakefront Brewery

1872 North Commerce Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212
, (414) 372-8800

A Milwaukee staple! A great place to gather in a large group and spend a few hours. Take the brewery tour, do a tasting, and try some of their deliciously greasy food. The food menu is small, but their beer menu is large, and includes Gluten Free options!

Milwaukee Art Museum

700 North Art Museum Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53202
, (414) 224-3200

If you have a decent amount of time to kill, the museum is the place to do it. It is bigger than you think, and their collections are really amazing. Even if you don't go inside, it is worth going by the museum to check out the architecture. The building is best viewed from the sky walk, and if you are lucky you might catch it opening or closing!

Stone Creek Coffee - Grand Avenue

275 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53203
, (414) 298-9965

There are so many great standalone places to grab coffee in Milwaukee, but you can count on being able to find a Stone Creek close to wherever you wander. Just be warned, even though their coffee is truly quality, their damn lids always leak, so either order something cold or be prepared. Collectivo, Anodyne, and Wonderstate are also great cafe options.

Beerline Cafe

2076 North Commerce Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212
, (414) 265-5644

For our Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan friends! Wisconsin is the state of cheese and fried foods, and though you can find alternative options at most restaurants (Milwaukee is surprisingly progressive) Beerline is honestly the best worry free option. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, but their menu is diverse and truly delicious. They take food allergies and preferences seriously, and have designated gluten free prep/cooking stations.

Milwaukee Public Museum

800 West Wells Street, Milwaukee, WI 53233
, (414) 278-2728

If Museums aren't your thing, We would like to suggest you check out the Milwaukee Public Museum. IT IS SO COOL! It's a natural history museum, and their collection is really just unbelievable. Plus they have a live butterfly room and the pretty bugs WILL land on you!
