Jessica was born and raised in Indiana and moved to Florida in 2020. She is always down for an adventure, or kicking back by the water. Ray grew up in Virginia, and moved to Florida in 2019. Yes, if you didn’t know, he loves the beach. While we grew up in radically different locations, to find each other in this world with similar values and a matching desire to make life better together; is pretty astounding. We are overcome with joy to have you spend such a memorable day with us. We look forward to the many more to come.

After the original meticulously planned sequence of events had been postponed from the day before. Not even I could predict how this beautiful Friday would unfold. All that I knew was that we were ready, and when the moment felt right, that would be it. We set off together on a glorious motorcycle ride down the Florida A1A coastline. She had no idea that her best friends had been alerted of the sequence of events, or that flowers had been delivered, champagne had been prepared, and a little spot on the beach had been dedicated to her. With some help, and a few miracles, everything was in place just before sunset. Together we set off hand in hand for a typical stroll down the beach. Internally, I was focused and on a mission. Externally, I was as cool as the Florida summer. Now walking at blitzkrieg speeds, my mind begins to panic as I jumble all of the details prepared to be said. Only to be overcome with the impeccable timing of blankness when it was time to say it. The good news was, it wasn’t about the words or what could have been said. But that when we locked eyes and knew that we were on the same page, forever. That was the only thing we needed from each other. Oh yeah, by the way, she said yes.
