Shenandoah National Park
This is where we got engaged! Park entrance fee is $30. Take in the views on a drive on Skyline Drive or go on a hike. There are multiple entrances to the park; the one closest to Winchester is in Front Royal.

This is a brewery we love that specializes in sour beers and naturally fermented cider and wine. Sip your beverages outdoors surrounded by mountains!
Red Truck Rural Bakery/Marshall
President Barack Obama: “I like pie. That's not a state secret. And I can confirm that the Red Truck Bakery makes some darn good pie.” Oprah: “I loooove me some Red Truck sweet potato pie!” Conde Nast Traveler: “The Red Truck Bakery is one of America’s 13 Destination Bakeries.” There are two locations in Marshall and Warrenton. Marshall is slightly closer to Winchester.
Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center
Part of the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum, the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center displays thousands of aviation and space artifacts, including the Space Shuttle Discovery, a Blackbird SR-71, and a Concorde, in two large hangars. It is located near Dulles Airport if you'd like to time your visit either after arriving or on the way back to the airport.
