What kind of weather should I expect?

Answer

In Wrightsville at this time of year, the temperature tends to range between 60-75 degrees. Please note that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place outdoors. We suggest looking at the weather closer to the wedding date to plan accordingly!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We want everyone looking their best, so think semi-formal attire. For men, you could wear anything from a suit to a dress shirt with khakis/dress pants. For ladies, have fun wearing skirts, dresses, or jumpsuits with fun patterns and colors! After all, you will be immersed in a beautiful garden setting, and we want you to feel comfortable and stylish!

Can I bring a plus-one or my children?

Due to the intimate nature of our wedding, we are only able to accommodate the specific individuals listed on your invitation. We kindly request that you refrain from bringing a plus-one or children unless their names are included on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

*When entering the venue, use the entrance marked “Lauxmont Gardens” and proceed up the paved driveway past the white barn and up the hill. *Near the middle of the hill, you will see a sign directing you to take the first left. Proceed onto the gravel path. *There will be a fork in the road. Stay to the right and follow the gravel path up toward the white cottage to find the parking area. Parking attendants will also be available to assist! *Guests will park in the designated area and then follow the light path to get to the ceremony site. ***Golf cart service is available for those who need assistance accessing the ceremony site***

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our photographer will capture all the special moments. Feel free to take photos during any other moments of the day. Thank you for helping us create a memorable experience by being fully present with us!
