What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

30 minutes before start time listed on the invite. If you're driving up from Nashville, plan for traffic.

Cocktail attire — think suits or sport coats for gentlemen and cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or dressy separates for ladies.

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

The Emerald Union: 112 Public Square Gallatin, TN 37066 The permitted parking in the square is free to venue guests and all spaces downtown are free; limited spaces available. Gallatin County Parking Garage North Boyers and East Franklin Gallatin, TN 37066 This garage is about a block-and-a-half from the venue. Free and open 24 hours.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided, so please plan to arrange your own ride. We recommend carpooling or using a rideshare service.

Uber and Lyft are very accessible. Otherwise I would recommend renting a car.

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally listed on the invitation.

Will there be a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes, we have a group rate for the Fairfield and Cambria hotels in downtown Nashville. There are many other hotel options around the city. Hotels in Hendersonville and Gallatin would be recommended if you want to be closer to the venue. We would also recommend checking out Airbnb/VRBO, let us know if you need location recommendations.

How far is the Venue from Downtown Nashville?

Answer

Our wedding venue, Emerald Union is in Gallatin, TN about 40 minutes east of downtown Nashville. Traffic starts to pick up around 3:00pm on Friday and can cause the drive to be closer to 1hr 20min, please plan accordingly.

Gallatin, TN is a historic town on the shore of Old Hickory Lake. The town features a Historic town square - Established in 1802, now featuring shops, restaurants, and attractions, and our venue Emerald Union.

What is there to do in Hendersonville, TN?

Answer

Known for Taylor Swift, Hendersonville, TN is your quintessential town. You'll find shopping (think Target), lakeside parks, and our favorite brewery, Tailgate. If you are wanting to explore some more, you will find Johnny Cash's grave at Memory Gardens, as well as the Historic Rock Castle (built in 1784). You can also drive by our house and see Uzi from the window.
