If you are driving your own car to the wedding, there is on-site parking at the venue. The Degas House parking lot is at 2401 Esplanade Avenue. It’s a short two-minute walk from the Degas House itself, which is on 2306 Esplanade Avenue.

Uber and Lyft provide services between the airport and New Orleans. They also service the entire city of New Orleans. The Degas House is a 10-minute car ride from the French Quarter.

New Orleans has a wide array of options for accommodation from luxury and budget-friendly hotels to Airbnbs to RV parks. We recommend checking out the following neighborhoods: The French Quarter—the heart of New Orleans and the life of the party! Just avoid staying on Bourbon Street if you want some peace and quiet. The Central Business District or "CBD"—this neighborhood begins west of Canal Street. It's a stone's throw away from the French Quarter without all the hustle and bustle. This is where we have always stayed when we visit. The Marigny—this neighborhood is east of the French Quarter. It's home to the famous Frenchmen Street, one of the best places to find live music in the city. The Garden District—this neighborhood is split into two: the Lower Garden District and the Garden District. The Lower Garden District is closer to the French Quarter, but it's not within walking distance. The main perk of this area is that it's absolutely beautiful! It has all the "stately homes and mansions" Dr. John was talking about.
