If your invitation includes both you and your partner's names or a guest designation, then yes! Due to space limitations, we are unable to provide every guest with a plus one. If you think there has been an error, kindly let us know.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

If your invitation reads "The [Your Last Name(s)] Family," then yes! Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate the children of every guest. If you think there has been an error, kindly let us know.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is already enough of a gift. But if you would really like to get us something, you can visit the Registry section of the site for gifting options.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you put away your phones and cameras during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer to capture the moment for all of us!

Question

What is a Second Line?

Answer

A second line is a foot parade led by a brass band. It's a New Orleans tradition that celebrates new beginnings. There are two parts to a second line. The newly weds and the brass band make up the first line, and the wedding guests who follow make up the second line. We will second line for about 15 to 20 minutes after the ceremony. The total distance of the parade will be just under one mile, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes!

Question

Why New Orleans?

Answer

With Madison's family in Alabama and Eddie's family in the UK & Europe, we decided to get married somewhere our friends and families on both sides of the Atlantic can get to and, once there, navigate with ease. New Orleans has public transportation (Uber, Lyft, buses, and streetcars) for those who are flying and parking for those who are driving into the city. The second reason is that we love New Orleans! We always have fun here. We hope you will too.
