The stars aligned in the summer of 2015 for the two individuals who ended up living just four blocks apart from each other in New York City. Back home from college, JoJo, admittedly skeptical of the world of dating apps, decided to join. Little did she know that within the first few swipes she would stumble (and bumble?) upon her future husband. Despite the fun they had, the summer eventually came to an end. JoJo returned to Syracuse and they parted ways. However, fate seemed to have other plans in store for them, as they kept finding themselves coming back to each other. It was as if the universe - or at least this city - was determined to keep their connection alive. Over these past 8 years, and in the midst of all of life's twists and turns, their love would grow and mature along with them, and they decided to rekindle their bond for good in 2020 - this time with a stronger sense of purpose and certainty. From living and working out of a cozy 500-square-foot studio apartment and adopting two crazy dogs, to moving into their dream apartment on the Upper West Side where Eddie would [finally] propose - they embraced each milestone together.
