Question
What time should I arrive?
Answer
Our ceremony will start promptly at 1:00 p.m. We recommend planning for parking/transit delays and arriving early (aim for 12:40-12:45 p.m.) to have plenty of time to settle in. Live music will begin at 12:40 p.m. Our reception will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. We're going to kick it off with a champagne toast, so make sure you're there to raise a glass with us (and to skip the line at the taco truck)!

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
We are not. In lieu of gifts, we're asking guests to consider contributing to causes close to our hearts, or to our honeymoon fund. See our registry page for more details.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Neither location has a parking lot, and street parking can be scarce. While street parking in Golden Gate Park is free, we encourage taking public transit (including the free Golden Gate Park shuttle), a cab, or bike-share, and have provided some more information about these options on our travel page.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Not really — just wear what makes you feel fabulous! Please feel free to ignore the usual "rules" about what to wear to weddings. Wear white, wear black, wear sequins or drag or a wedding gown if you want! We want everyone to dress up in whatever way makes you feel your best, your most stunning, or most authentically yourself. (And if you're reading this and feeling lost, cocktail attire is a safe choice)

What is APEC?
Answer
There will be a meeting of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in San Francisco from November 12th - November 18th, which means President Biden and a dozens of international dignitaries will be in town. As a result, hotel rooms in San Francisco are in short supply, and certain streets will be closed to traffic on certain days. While our wedding celebrations are not near where APEC will take place, and APEC itself will end before our wedding, please anticipate additional traffic in San Francisco that weekend.
