Downtown Waynesville is about 30 minutes away and has some restaurants, shops, and breweries to explore.
Blue Ridge Parkway
Soco Rd, Maggie Valley, NC 28751
Access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is only 40 minutes away, so hop on and go for a nice drive.
Great Smokey Mountains National Park
Cataloochee Entrance Rd, Waynesville, NC 28785
The Cataloochee Area of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park is about 50 minutes away if you want to get an earlier start and explore and potentially see some Elk.
Downtown Asheville

Downtown Asheville is about an hour away and has plenty to explore. If you have the time, we recommend spending an extra day (or a few days) and explore the area after the wedding. We have spent a couple weekends exploring Asheville, so reach out if you plan on staying in Asheville and are looking for any ideas!
