Question

Will there be parking at the church ceremony?

Answer

Yes. There are two adjacent lots that can fit approximately 50 cars. At the time of the ceremony both lots will likely get completely full by our guests and all parking spaces including the aisles will be filled. Keep in mind that once you park your car in one of the lots you will not be able to drive out until the ceremony is over and guests start leaving to clear the parking lot aisles. We encourage carpooling, Lyft, Uber to the church. There won't be any street parking available since it is a residential area.

Will there be parking at the wedding reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be valet parking available at the hotel where our reception will be held, the Sofitel Magnificent Mile Chicago hotel. Valet has been discounted to $30 for the day for our guests. In and out privileges are not included. If you are staying at the hotel, daily valet parking is $TBD, with in and out privileges.

Does the Sofitel hotel have luggage drop off?

Answer

Yes, if you want to explore the city after check-out or you arrive early before your room is ready, you can drop off your bags at the check-in counter and explore the city!

Will the events be indoor or outdoor?

All events will be indoor.

How cold will it get in Chicago during our wedding?

Answer

The average temperature in October in Chicago is 54degF, low of 50degF, and high of 60degF. It gets colder and windier closer to Lake Michigan. We recommend packing a light to medium jacket with a hood/beanie if you plan to do a lot of walking downtown.
