We never could have expected that snowy night in Crested Butte, 5 years ago would change everything, but here we are. I (Sarah) was on a snowboarding trip with my friends and Collin was on a ski trip with his. The fact that he was a skier and I'm a snowboarder probably should have stopped this relationship before it started, but Collin chose to look past this major red flag, asked for my number, and suggested we hang out once everyone made it safely back to Denver. About a month later and after a Rockies game, I admitted that I had a crush on Collin. Thankfully, the feeling was mutual, and neither of us has looked back since. What followed is the best adventure of our lives, starting with our very first trip together camping in 104-degree heat in Moab - a bold choice for a new relationship. But thankfully, it's only gone up from there! Since then, we've traveled all over the world together, including the Philippines, Greece, and France (for what else, but to ski). Along the journey, we've found a shared love of music, camping, chasing powder, Indian food, cooking, competitive crossword puzzles, and of course, our two “children,” Max and Charlie Waffles, who fully run the household. We know that life is better when it’s shared, whether that means early mornings on the slopes, long travel days, or quiet nights at home. They always say you should marry your best friend, and there’s no doubt that we've found that in each other. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
