FAQs

We’ve gathered answers to some of the most common questions to help you plan for the day. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about that isn’t covered here, please don’t hesitate to reach out as we’re happy to help and want you to feel fully prepared for the celebration!
Question

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by July 10th, 2026. You can RSVP directly through the “RSVP” tab on our wedding website by entering your first and last name. From there, you’ll be able to respond for yourself as well as anyone else in your party. We kindly ask that all guests submit a response, whether you’ll be able to attend or not, so we can finalize our plans accordingly. If you run into any issues with the RSVP page or have trouble accessing the form, feel free to reach out to us and we’ll be happy to help!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 4:45 PM to allow time to make your way to Willow Chapel, located behind the mansion, and get comfortably seated before the ceremony begins. For guests with mobility concerns, we recommend allowing a little extra time, as golf cart transportation will be available to assist with travel across the grounds to the ceremony site.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love for guests to join us in cocktail attire. Suits, cocktail dresses, longer formal dresses, and elevated jumpsuits are all great options, along with other polished semi-formal attire.

Question

Can I bring a guest with me?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests only attend with those specifically named on the invitation or listed through the RSVP. If a plus one is included, it will be noted there directly. We appreciate your understanding as we keep our guest list limited to those included on your invitation.

Question

Can my children attend?

Answer

To help us keep our guest count intimate, this is primarily an adults-focused celebration. Infants and young children are not included, with a very small number of older family children invited by name only. If your invitation does not specifically list your child, we kindly ask that they do not attend. While we love your little ones, we hope you’ll enjoy the evening as a chance for a relaxing night out!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors at the Willow Chapel (at Black Iris Estate), a beautiful open-air chapel surrounded by greenery that provides natural shade. Because it is outdoors in August, we recommend dressing accordingly for the weather. After the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception will be held indoors at Black Iris Estate. In the event of heavy rain, the ceremony will be moved inside the venue.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking for an unplugged ceremony, meaning no phones or photos during this time. We want everyone to be fully present, and for our photographers to capture the moment without distractions or blocked views. Please also remember to silence your phones before the ceremony begins.
