When I proposed to Emily, I felt that I had figured out the rest of my life and that I was perfectly ready to single-handedly take on anything that the world threw at me. Since then, I’ve matured and grown enough to realize that I had grossly overexaggerated my abilities. However, I did know that the single best decision of my life had been made. And that, with Emily at my side, I was ready to take on anything the world did throw at us. I am so grateful that God has brought us together to take on this crazy life, and I can’t imagine doing it without her.

My name is Aden and I am the bride’s cousin. Growing up with her has been a journey, even more so in a Romanian family haha. From playing dress up in Bica’s clothes, to boating days, to our stressful but memorable year at college together, to cooking in Bica’s kitchen together, she’s been a built in best friend and like the sister I never had. I couldn’t be more honored to be standing by her side on such a significant day playing dress up all over again.

Calvin and Tyler have known each other for just a short time. But when they first met there was an instantaneous connection. Through the years they’ve grown closer as Calvin changed Tyler’s diapers, cleaned up after him, drove him to and from school, coached him in various sports, taught him to walk, run, ride bikes, ski, and many other life skills. They have shared so many memories from awesome trips in foreign countries, strategy game nights, to discussing girls, careers, religion, and lifes many ups and downs. Tyler it truly has been an honor being your Dad, but I’m extremely happy to be able to call you my bud. Thru the last couple years of Highschool and College we became friends and I can’t tell you how much I love that! I know you will continue to make me proud and that you will be an excellent Husband to Emily. - Dad

Sammie is 16 years old and one of Emily’s closest cousins. They love vlogging, traveling, and spending time together, and have shared so many memories that it’s hard to imagine life without each other. Sammie is always there to support Emily and bring fun to every moment.

I'm Josh, I've known Tyler since I was born. He is one of my best friends, and spent his childhood with me engaging in tomfoolery, buffonery, silly billyness, and general shenanigans. He taught me how to use chatGPT, and I taught him everything he knows about snowboarding, motorcycles, and cool cars.

Edith has been in Emily's life since they were children. And as the sister of the groom, she's been in his life even longer. Growing up together, they've become friends for a lifetime.

Jake is the groom’s cousin and has shared many great memories with him growing up. From family vacations, especially all their trips to the dunes, to holidays and family gatherings, they have spent a lot of time together over the years. Those times were always full of laughs and good memories. Jake is grateful for the bond they share and is honored to stand beside his cousin on such an important day as he begins this new chapter of life.

Kymberlina (Kymbo) has known Emily since Kindergarten, and has loved growing up with her and now they get to call all the time to keep updating each other. She knew of Tyler while growing up, but never officially met him until he was dating Emily. Then she worked at Leoni Meadows with Tyler soon after him and Emily started dating. Kymbo is so happy that she got to help plan the wedding and is super excited to be bridesmaid on Emily's special day!

I’ve known Tyler long enough to have plenty of good stories (some probably not wedding-website appropriate). As his cousin, I like to think I’m his favorite—even if he might argue about that. He’s always been a great friend who knows how to make people laugh and bring everyone together. I’m really excited to celebrate him and his bride and be part of such a big day.

Abigail and Emily met in 4th grade at Orangevale Seventh-Day Adventist School. They made a million memories together from falling on the classroom floor laughing to singing in Girls Chorus to going through a social distanced graduation together. Even though they went on to different high schools and colleges, their shared joy, friendship, and love for Christ continues to keep them close and Abigail is so excited to be a bridesmaid for her friend’s dream wedding.

Hi, my name is Ryker Overton. I love backpacking, boating, and taking family trips around the world. One of my favorite memories with Tyler is going on long trips together, staying up late playing games, and just talking about life and the things we hope to do someday. Tyler has always been someone I can count on. No matter how my day is going, I know I can talk to him and he’ll help me through it. He’s more than just a brother—he’s a true friend. As for the couple, they are perfect for each other. I truly hope they have a wonderful life together and create many amazing memories along the way.

Katherine and Emily met through their shared love of theatre in highschool. Throughout the years of going to each others performances and supporting their passions for the arts, they bonded and continued growing their friendship in college. Many late nights were spent in conversation about what the next adventures would entail, some of which included commiserating over being sick or random side quests to get burritos. Katherine is very happy to be able to support and celebrate Emily and Tyler on their special day!

I’m Emily’s favorite bother— I mean brother. Maybe I am the only one, but that’s all changing, and I couldn’t be happier. It seems like just yesterday I was watching Emily go off to 4th grade, thinking she was so cool. Now I’m thinking the same thing again, but this time she’s walking down the aisle. She’s grown so much—well, mentally. She’s still about as short as she was back then. When I first heard she liked someone, I didn’t really care… until I saw the guy. He was tall, slender, and nerdy (in the nicest way possible). Most of those assumptions have since been proven wrong. He’s actually really cool and has become one of my closest friends. I honestly don’t think there’s a better match for Emily in this world. So whether it’s watching F1 or playing Smash Bros, I look forward to the future of this newlywed couple.

Arianna and Emily were roommates during their freshman year at Walla Walla University, and the two instantly bonded. Their dorm room was full of laughter, performances of Taylor Swift Songs, and nightly debriefs about the day. They were just what each other needed in a friend coming into college. Even though they are not roommates anymore, the friendship built in that dorm room will last a lifetime, and Arianna couldn't be more excited to stand with Emily on her wedding day.

The first time I can remember formally meeting my future roommate and cousin and law was at my Bica and Bicu’s house. Funnily enough, Tyler and I weren’t the best of buddies at first, we had our eyes out watching each other. We sized each other up, and I was busy making sure my cousin had the right guy. Fortunately for them both, I know she found just the one, and Tyler has impressed me in the loving, thoughtful, caring, and intentional man that he is. From Captain Falcon Vs. Dark Pit on smash bros, to the 3d printer running all night long making a full size storm trooper helmet, there was never a dull moment in the dorm room. Living with someone tells you a lot about their character, and I can tell you my cousin Emily found a very special, unique, and completely dedicated person. My love is with you Both in the very bright future you both share.
