Where should I stay if I am coming from out of town?

Answer

We recommend either Sonesta in Pleasant Hill, Hyatt in Pleasant Hill, or Marriot in Walnut Creek. We should be including promo codes as we get them from the wedding venue. In general, we would stick to Pleasant Hill or Walnut Creek. Walnut Creek is a straight shot to the reception in Clayton, and Pleasant Hill is a straight shot to the church in Benicia. There are maybe 1-2 hotels we would recommend in Concord. If you are unsure of which hotel to book, please reach out to us before booking!

How far away is the wedding venue from the reception?

Answer

It is about a 30 minute drive, and there is a toll bridge ($7) between them.

How is the parking at the reception and the wedding venue?

Answer

The parking at the reception is great, and there is an overflow lot just in case the parking lot is full (which is doubtful). For the wedding venue, you will most likely find parking on J st or First St.

Is there anything happening before, during, or after the event?

Answer

Between the wedding and reception, we will most likely go to the Relik Tavern on First Street in Benicia, about a block away from the church. After the reception, we will most likely be too tired, but we might rally and go to the bar at Lafayette Hotel and Spa

Is there anything else I should know about the church?

Answer

Please no photography in the church, let our photographer do that! Please do not drink in the church!!

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

This is entirely up to you, but we prefer the fund that will go toward the wedding and the honeymoon!
