What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Please plan to arrive around 3:30 pm for the 4 pm ceremony.

What should I wear?

Answer

Please wear semi-formal, garden party attire. Avoid cream or white colors, and please no jeans or flip flops. We encourage guests to avoid wearing stilettos as the venue is primarily outdoors and grassy areas may be soft. We also suggest wearing layers, while some areas of the venue have some AC and heat, the temperature will be in the hands of mother nature.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! Please see the map of the venue which highlights key venue features, including parking and restrooms (https://www.theblacksheepshelter.com/venue-parking). It is important to note that the owners of the venue live on the property. Please respect their privacy and space, and avoid encroaching on their home (the old farm house) and use the driveway designated on the map to access the venue. Please do not use their private drive to access the venue parking.

Are kids (under 18) invited to the wedding?

Answer

Unless otherwise denoted in your printed invitation, children under the age of 18 are not invited to attend the ceremony or reception.
