Question
What are the state of Hawaii's Covid restrictions?
Answer
If you are vaccinated, you no longer have to get a Covid test prior to arrival. You do need to upload your vaccination card when you register to the State of Hawaii Safe Travels website https://travel.hawaii.gov/ . Very Important ! You MUST be registered to the State of Hawaii Safe Travels site before arriving to Hawaii. Visit https://travel.hawaii.gov/ to register your trip . This includes listing your travel details such as hotel, flights, length of stay, and uploading your Vaccination Card. If you have NOT been vaccinated then you must get a covid test from one of their trusted travel partners within 72 hours of your trip, which can be found here https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/ . Once you have proof of your negative test results, then you must upload it to the website so you can be exempt from Quarantine. If you have been vaccinated, then you do not need to get a covid test.

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! There are various babysitting options at Hilton Village. Also https://alohasitters.com comes highly recommended and have been in business for 10 years.

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Tropical island colors. We prefer no black, and no sneakers (unless you're wearing Nike of course, haha just kidding ). We would like this to have an upscale island vibe. So men , feel free too wear those linen or seer sucker suits. Ladies, let's keep it elegant and classy. Keep in mind it willl be mid 80's throughout the evening.

Hotel Pricing?
Answer
Surfrider Moana Hotel: Price range from $240 - $ 400. Sheridan Hotel: Price range from $165 - $205. We have negotiated pricing at the hotel listed above. However, Waikiki Beach has nearly dozen hotels within a mile radius of the wedding & reception (Moana Surfrider). We typically stay at the Hyatt Regency located at the entrance of Waikiki Beach.

Do I Need to Rent a Car?
Answer
While we love having a car while we are in Hawaii on previous trips to adventure to different parts of the island, it is not a necessity. Waikiki Beach has everything within walking distance or a short taxi/uber ride. If you like to adventure outside of Waikiki Beach we have listed several car rental locations in the area (Check travel tab).
