Franklin Marriott Cool Springs
We have reserved a hotel block at the Franklin Marriott. Please use the link provided here to ensure that you get the guaranteed rate of $169/night. There is not a special code. Just double check that the top of the page says Wilson/Garcia Wedding. The hotel block rate is available for both Friday and Saturday night. If you choose to stay Thursday or Sunday night, you’d have to pay the regular rate and the room might not be available, whereas the rooms for Friday and Saturday are guaranteed for us if you reserve by 9/13/24. The hotel is 17-18 minutes away from the venue. The block will expire on 9/13/24. If the block is full when you go to book, please let Jules, Edd, or Lorena know and we will look into booking another block.

AirBnB
Finding an AirBnB might be a good option if you like your privacy, are not a fan of hotels, are looking for a particular environment/experience (being in nature, going to visit a Civil War site, a themed boutique experience, etc.), and are okay with spending more $$. You could even partner up with another friend or family to split the bill on a great spot. In Franklin and Arrington, single rooms seem to go for $70-200/night before tax (BT), and entire homes are $115-360/night BT. In the neighborhoods of Nashville (East Nashville, Wedgewood/Houston, Berry Hill, etc.), you can probably find an entire residence for $120-250/night BT. Staying in Downtown will be more like $250-500/night BT. There are some really cool themed AirBnBs in Nashville if that's your thing. More recommendations and tips can be found in our FAQ.

Directions/Geography
If flying into town, the airport is BNA/Nashville International Airport. From BNA/Nashville International Airport, take I-40 to I-440 West towards Memphis, then merge onto I-65 South towards Huntsville. Drive 15 miles then take exit 65, turning left onto TN 96-W/Murfreesboro Road. Drive 8.5 miles/14 minutes until you see the venue’s driveway on the left. Total: 31 miles/35 minutes. From the general Nashville area, take I-65 South and follow the directions above. Depending on the location of your lodgings, back roads and local highways may be a nice scenic option. I’d advise against taking I-24 if it can be avoided. Time: 30-45 minutes From the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs Hotel, follow Cool Springs Blvd. as it turns into Oxford Glen Drive, then turn left onto TN-96 W/Murfreesboro Road. Drive for six miles, and the venue will be on the left. Total: 10 miles/16 minutes From the South, take I-65 North to I-840 East towards Knoxville, then take exit 42 for US 31 A/US 41A towards Shelbyville/Lewisburg. Turn left onto US-31 ALT N/US-41 A N, then left onto TN-96 W, and the venue will be on your right. From the East, take I-840 West towards Memphis/Franklin to exit 42 for US 31A/US 41A towards Shelbyville/Lewisburg. Turn right onto US-31 ALT N/US-41 A N, turn left onto TN-96W, and the venue will on the right.

How will I get around?
We strongly encourage you to get a rental car. Nashville and the surrounding areas are beautiful and great to visit, but there is one big downside--we do NOT have good public transportation and it is NOT a walkable city (unless you stay in Downtown). I repeat: do not expect to be able to walk to restaurants and other spots from your lodging (unless you stay in Downtown or very specific spots around town). In many places, it's not safe to walk due to a lack of sidewalks, crosswalks, and responsible drivers. Things are also very spread out. A lot of AirBnB and Vrbo listings will say that you can walk somewhere only five minutes away...please double check with Jules or another local because that is often technically true but not something I'd actually recommend doing.
