We're Getting Married

One night during our high school homecoming football game, Brianna was cheering on the football game and Derek was in the crowd with his friends watching the game. Both of us kept locking eyes on each other during the game and having feelings of "this could be something." After winning the homecoming football game, Derek asked Brianna to the dance in a silly way. We both walked out to our vehicles, when Derek then asked Brianna to be his girlfriend.

On Derek's Birthday and opening deer season, you can only imagine where this story is leading to. While sitting in a deer blind together on Derek's grandparents land called "the hog lot", we were both keeping our eyes open looking for any deer activity. Derek was filled with excitement, as always on opening weekend. However, Brianna noticed that Derek's excitement was to another level that she knew something was different, but couldn't exactly figure it out. A little bit after the sunrise, an eleven point buck walked out in front of our blind. Derek was excited as a kid on the morning of Christmas. Derek asked, "do you want to shoot this one?". Brianna replied, "no it's your birthday, you should do it." After Derek tagged his deer, we were on our way walking out of the timber together. Brianna noticed Derek was walking slower than usual, when Brianna turned around and noticed Derek down on one knee with the ring in his hand, "Will you Marry Me?"
