We first met at work in February 2014. Jorge was the funny guy in the training class and Lauren was loud and bubbly! We became friends first, then started going to lunch together and talking on the phone. We spent a lot of time together, making memories and building a strong connection. We started dating on June 18, 2014.

In our first year of dating, we found our love for travel. It started with local hikes and road-trips within Arizona. Our first vacation out of the state together was a trip to San Diego in 2015. Now we've been on over 30 trips together including 11 states and 4 countries! We are looking to add 3 more countries to our list, with plans to honeymoon in Switzerland, Austria and Germany.

For Lauren's 30th birthday, we booked a trip to Bali, Indonesia. We traveled all around the region, but the most beautiful spot by far was the Banyumala Waterfalls in Northern Bali. We decided to take pictures on a bridge in front of the falls. Lauren started walking up to the bridge and sensed that Jorge was not behind her. When she turned around to look for him, she found him Jorge on one knee! She happily accepted his proposal, and the tour guide was able to catch it all on camera.
