Meet the bride, Erika! She was born and raised in Lake Wylie, SC, moving to Beaufort, SC for college in 2017. Erika graduated college in 2021, and after passing the state exam, became a Registered Nurse. She works at a pediatric clinic and couldn't love her job anymore than she does. She loves animals of all kinds, fostering dogs in her free time when she is not spending time with her personal fur baby, Lily Mae. Erika has a twin brother who you will see in the wedding party! She is so glad you are all a part of her life.
Evan Bowman
Groom
Evan was born in Pennsylvania, where he lived until the end of elementary school. His family then moved to Lake Wylie, SC, where he made his new home and where he met Erika. He went to college for two years at the local community college before transferring to USC Beaufort, where him and Erika went to college together. Evan graduated college in 2021 and then entered the workforce as a biologist for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. Evan loves spending his free time outdoors, whether it be fishing, exploring, or playing disc golf. He is so lucky to have you all!
Grace Auten
Maid of Honor
There was no hesitation when deciding who would be the maid of honor. Grace and Erika have been best friends since elementary school, and she might be the only person that knows Erika better than Evan! Grace is currently living in Atlanta, GA with her other half, Daniel, and working at an urgent care.
Cullen Clatterbuck
Best Man
Cullen and Evan have been best friends since they met when Evan moved to SC in elementary school. Remaining best friends to this day, there couldn’t be a better person to be Evan’s best man. Cullen and Evan often play disc golf together, and always are on a different adventure. Cullen is living in Lake Wylie, SC, managing a restaurant.
Myah Bowman

Myah is Evans sister, but is also already a sister to Erika. Since the moment they met, Erika and Myah instantly clicked, creating an amazing friendship that has only become stronger with time. Myah is currently living and working in Boca Raton, FL.
Zach Sabo
Groomsman
You can often find Erika and Evan arguing over who is the closest to Zach. Erika and Zach met in middle school and have remained friends since, and Evan met him in high school. Zach has been on many fun adventures with them, including senior prom and a wild camping trip. Zach currently lives and works in Lake Wylie, SC.
Madison Roberts

Madison and Erika met in nursing school at USCB and have been friends ever since! They both have a lot in common including fiancés named Evan! They have been dreaming of this day since they met, and are so happy it’s finally here! Madison lives in Charleston, SC with her Evan and works as a nurse.
Collins Janus
Groomsman
Evan and Collins met in high school, and have maintained a great friendship since! Collins and Evan will often be found fishing together, no matter where they are. Collins lives in Lake Wylie, SC working at a radio station.
Cheyenne Thalacker

Cheyenne is married to Erika’s twin brother, Scott, and is the mother of little Everleigh. Cheyenne has known Erika and Evan for a few years now, and has shown them so much love in that time. She lives and works in Lake Wylie, SC.
Scott Thalacker
Groomsman
Scott is Erika’s twin brother and also a good friend of Evan’s. Scott actually was friends with Evan before Erika was and introduced the two, even though Erika does not remember. Scott lives in Lake Wylie, SC with his wife Cheyenne and their beautiful baby girl, Everleigh.
Jennifer Perera

Jennifer and Erika aren’t technical sisters, but they’re the closest you can get to it. Their parents are cousins, and they have grown up around eachother since the beginning. Jennifer lives in Tampa, FL with her family, her doggie Blue, and her boyfriend Carlos. She is also Tampa’s finest nail tech!
Zander Mcniece

Zander and Evan have been friends since high school, and pretty much are mentally still high schoolers when together. They bond over cheesy movies and memes that no one else understands, but that’s what makes them such good friends. Zander lives in Lake Wylie, SC, and is working at a physical therapy practice.
Anna Goolsby
Bridesmaid
Erika and Anna have known each other for a few years now, as her boyfriend Kyle and Evan were roommates in college at USCB. They mostly spend their time together as a group of four, but are the perfect friends, as their love for Mexican restaurants is incomparable. Anna lives in Atlanta, GA with Kyle and is going to school to be a radiologic technologist.
Kyle Bilak
Groomsman
Evan and Kyle met in college at USCB and were roommates on campus. Their friendship quickly evolved as they spent more time together, fishing, talking about guns, or doing other dude stuff. Even though they live farther apart now, when they are together, time hasn’t skipped a beat. Kyle lives in Atlanta, GA with his girlfriend Anna, working in the IT industry.
Magaly Thalacker
Mother of the Bride
Most people say that Erika is a "little Magaly," and that couldn't be more true. Magaly is originally from Cuba, moved to Charlotte, NC at a young age, and the rest is history. It was in Charlotte that she met her husband, Gerry, Erika's dad. Erika is very fortunate to be close to both of her parents. Erika's mom has been there for her through this whole planning process, and was even a secret key element in the proposal!
Michelle Bowman
Mother of the Groom
Michelle, Evan's mother, is always there to support her kids. She is from Pennsylvania, and enjoys coming down to Beaufort to visit. She is known by everyone as having a huge heart and making sure that no one goes hungry in her house.
Gerry Thalacker
Father of the Bride
Gerry was born and raised in the midwest, between South Dakota and Wisconsin, moving to Charlotte, NC to pursue his IT career. There he met Magaly, Erika's mom, and they created a family and a life together. Erika and her dad are also very close, and have a lot in common. He is kindly willing to share Erika with Evan, as long as she still comes home for the holidays.
Doug Bowman
Father of the Groom
Lil Dougie, or as Evan simply calls him Dad. Whatever you know him by you’re sure to love him. Doug is from Pennsylvania and is the reason that the Bowman family moved to SC in the first place. He enjoys anything competitive and loves to have a good time. He and Evan play disc golf together in their free time.
Luke
Ring Bearer
Luke is Erika's favorite little boy (almost bigger than her) in the entire world. At a whopping 3 years old, Luke is a genius who takes after his parents. He is full of love and sass, and Erika and Evan are so happy to have him as the honorary ring bearer.
Lily Mae
Wedding Planner
Lily Mae is the star of this whole show. Behind the scenes, she has done all the work that has gone into planning this wedding. She is the most important part of Erika and Evan's lives and is so excited to see her mommy and daddy get married!!!
