Well apparently we met freshman year of high school, both having been introduced to each other by Erika’s brother, who was already friends with Evan, and also not realizing until 6 years in that we had Spanish class together! So I guess our story actually begins when Erika first remembers meeting Evan! Senior year of high school, 2017, halfway through the year, she switched into a new AP Environmental Science class, which happened to be the class Evan was in. After him not picking up on her hints, their teacher had to inform him that he was blind and he needs to ask her to prom. She said yes and the rest is history! After two years of long distance, Evan transferred to USC Beaufort, where they would fall in love with the low country. They both graduated from USC Beaufort in 2021, and were blessed to enter the workforce with their dream jobs. They have added a fur baby to their family, Lily Mae, and spend their free time fostering dogs, and enjoying the beautiful low country. In 2023, they got a house together in Beaufort, and Evan FINALLY asked the question that led us to this moment! We are so glad you have been a part of our story and can’t wait to see where else life takes us.
