Pack Your Bags! We're Getting Married in Mexico!

Pierre and I met pre-pandemic in May 2019 at the most perfect time in both of our lives. It was a beautiful night in Chicago, IL at the Black Mall (iykyk). We were attending a peace circle which was curated by the Great Toni Mono (again iykyk). Pierre had arrived before me, still with his work clothes on, and this was his very first peace circle that he attended. I was late, of course, so I didn't even see Pierre before I sat down. During the peace circle, I had heard him speak but couldn't clearly see his face because someone was blocking my view. After we finished, we were invited to play a game to close the circle, so we played the pretzel game. Somehow, we ended up next to each other and Pierre firmly grabbed my hand, to which I exclaimed, "You're holding my hand like you my husband." Which is why I always say it was love at first touch! As we were getting ready to leave the space, I was talking on the phone with my mom and kept a close eye on Pierre, because I was still trying to talk to him. He smiled at me and was about to get ready to head out the door. I quickly, without a second thought, grabbed hand, told my mom to hold on while I got Pierre's number, and that was the beginning of our beautiful story!

Twin Flames (Mirror Souls) are one soul split into two bodies. It is important to know that many twin flames will end up making their way back to each other, even it takes years - but not all. It depends on the level of work the twin flames do individually while they're separate. I make the joke that Pierre was my stalker because he eventually told me that he knew ME in high school and I tried to figure out how because I never seen this man a day before May 29, 2019. We went to the same high school never talked or met, but had the same mutual friendships, AND went to the same college (at different time) the Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago. I believe our story is one of a kind because Chicagoans have like this joke that everyone knows everyone or everybody is somebody cousin, so it's interesting that we have so many mutual connections but never fell into the same crowds until we met at the peace circle. It was written by the stars and predestined by God.
