Question

Is the shuttle from the airport to the resort included in the rate?

Answer

Yes. There is only one International Airport in Belize. Once you arrive at the airport, there will be a representative from the resort there to greet you. From there, you will be escorted to a jumper flight that is 45 minute scenic flight to Placencia Airstrip. There you will take an 8 minute shuttle ride to the resort. In order to catch this jumper flight, you must arrive at Belize International no later than 3pm, as the last flight leaving Belize International is at 3:45pm. We strongly suggest guests to book an early flight on Thursday leaving the US.

Question

What if I arrive at BZE after 3pm?

Answer

Early arrival is strongly encouraged. If you miss the last jumper flight to the island, a ground transfer is available for an additional fee. Please contact Sharon at the resort to schedule this pick up.

Question

I don't have roaming through my cell phone carrier. How do I make calls to the resort coordinator if I have issues at the airport?

Answer

We strongly encourage everyone to download WhatsApp prior to leaving the US. If you have cell service you may contact the resort directly at their toll free number and let them know you are a part of the wedding party and someone will be able to assist you. If not, please connect to available wifi and contact the resort at the (501) WhatsApp number listed below: Email: info@larubeya.com Toll Free: 1-800-329-2528 Belize: 501-523-3476

Question

what is the dress code?

Question

What is the weather like in June?

Answer

HOT. It may also rain, so keep that in mind.

Question

Are there any stores in walking distance?

Answer

There aren't any stores in walking distance perse, as we will be on an island. So we suggest that you bring all of your toiletries, etc. and everything you need with you. There is some city life with local shops and restaurants just outside of the resort, so you are welcomed to go and explore the island if time permits. We will also be doing a group tour the day before the ceremony.

Question

are the room rates per person?

Answer

No. All room rates are based on double occupancy. For example, a one bedroom suite for $2320 would include accommodations for two (2), bringing the total to $1160 per person. Please contact the resort for discounted single occupancy rates if you are not bringing a plus one or if you prefer to room alone.
