Travel Note
Your passport must be valid until at least January 31, 2027 to meet the six-month validity requirement for travel to Italy in July 2026. Please refer to the official website linked below for more information on US Passport guidance, specifically with applying for or renewing passports.
Flight
We recommend flying into one of the following airports: Milan Airport, Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP)- Recommended. Train to Florence: From MXP, take the Aeroporto train (or taxi) to Milano Centrale (~45 minutes), then a high-speed train (Italo, Trenitalia, etc.) to Florence Santa Maria Novella (~1 hour 45 minutes). Florence Airport, Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR) Taxi / Tram to city center: 15-20 minutes. This will most likely require a connecting flight.
Shuttle
July 31, 2026 5:00 pm
Once the ceremony has concluded, a shuttle bus will take you to the Villa Corsini Mezzomonte for Aperitivo and Reception. Because the streets are so narrow, the pick up is located at Piazza Vittorio Veneto, a 13-minute walk from the church. A closet will be available at the venue should you wish to bring a change of shoes. After the reception ends, shuttles will drop you off at the same location as pick up.
