FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

What's the vibe, you ask? Think breathtaking views of the rolling hills in Tuscany, fresco ceilings, and candlelit dinner. Gents, tuxedos are welcome, but not required - a well-tailored suit and tie in any color is perfect. Think bold, classic, and Italian Summer. We want to see your personality shine through! For the ladies, formal gowns or elevated cocktail dresses with flowing silhouettes, rich colors or prints that feel timelessly elegant are highly encouraged. The goal? Have fun with it - lean into the glamour of la dolce vita. You're going to look fabulous!

Question

What is the best way to get around Florence?

Answer

Florence is extremely walkable and is the best way to explore the city! It is easy to navigate using Apple or Google Maps. If you are renting a car, please make sure that you are aware of the traffic laws and permit restrictions. Given the small size of the city, there are many streets that require a permit to even drive on. Careful, you could end up with a ticket in the mail! Taxis are easy to schedule and arrive quickly. Call the same day (~15-20-minutes before you need to leave) and speak to the operator - don't worry, they speak English! Question

What day should I arrive in Florence?

Answer

We are hosting a Welcome Party on Thursday, July 30th at Angel Rooftop at 8pm to kick-off the celebration. We can't wait to see you there! If you are flying in just before the wedding, be sure to keep the time zone change in mind when booking your travels - we'll need you refreshed and ready to dance the night away with us! If you are perhaps joining us from your European vacation, Thursday is perfect!

Question

What time should I arrive at the church for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be a Catholic mass and will begin promptly at 3:30pm. Please arrive at 3:00pm, at the latest, to allow for everyone to take their seats and also soak in the beauty of the Italian architecture - trust me, you'll want extra time to check out that ceiling!
