Samantha & Eben

Eben tells everyone that we met on J-Date.
Sami says we met through friends.
Neither is the truth...

We met on a dating app called Ship, which lets your friends swipe for you.

Sami's friend Paige matched Sami with Eben and her friend Rachel pushed Sami to respond to Eben's first message...3 weeks later.

Rachel knew Eben from work, so technically 
we did meet through friends after all!

On our first date, we went to the Left Door on 14th street. Sami used the word 'audiophile' 9 times and Eben told a crude joke that neither of us can remember. Against all odds, Sami agreed to a second date - dinner at Centrolina - which concluded with our first kiss.

Over the next few months, Eben would suggest activities far in the future in order to lock Sami into plans. Skeptical of his motives, Sami agreed to some of them - July 4th on Cape Cod, Thanksgiving in Boca & Eben's birthday at Disney World.

Two years and countless activities later, Eben proposed to Sami on 
her grandmother's balcony.
