VRBO/Airbnb/Home Away

House Rentals are a great option! Get some friends and rent a beach house. We recommend securing your rental ASAP as Asbury & Ocean Grove are very popular tourist destinations and the homes are rented out quickly. Other nearby towns to consider a house rental are: Ocean Grove, Bradley Beach, Allenhurst and Loch Arbor. Have questions about location? Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel

The Berkeley is a Historic beachfront property in arguably the BEST location in Asbury Park- truly the best. If you stay at the Berkeley nearly everything you'll want to do is in walking distance (minus our actual wedding!) We love the Berkeley and think you will too, however we've noticed the Google reviews have been negative as of late so we advise you to book based on your own research. Bus transportation will be provided to and from the Asbury Area near the Berkeley for the wedding (about a 40 minute drive).

The Asbury Hotel

This hotel is one of Brenton and Amy's favorites. We sometimes go here to work out of the lobby since it's a short bike ride from Amy's parents' house. While a bit on the pricey side, there are some unique options (rooms that sleep 4) to make it a little more affordable. The location, right across the street from the Berkeley and Ocean Club is also ideal for exploring Asbury Park and this hotel has an awesome lobby, pool, and rooftop bar. This spot will likely book quickly but as of May, there appear to be some rooms left.

Asbury Ocean Club Hotel

Feeling boujee? This brand new hotel is absolutely stunning. While room rates are a bit outrageous, the property is across from the Berkley in a beautiful location. Brenton & Amy will be staying here the night of the wedding if you want to join!

The Carriage House Ocean Grove - A unique stay!

Looking for a unique stay? Ocean Grove is a cute little town only 1/2 a mile wide and is walking distance to Asbury Park & the beach. It has tons of local boutique hotels and Bed & Breakfasts which have much more affordable rates and are a unique stay experience. Get your friends together and all book at the same place! Everything you'll need is within walking distance and you won't regret exploring this tiny town. This is one of MANY local Ocean Grove spots, so feel free to look for more on Google.

Holiday Inn Express Neptune, an IHG Hotel

The closest hotel to Asbury Park that would take a room block is the Holiday Inn Express on Hwy 66. We were able to secure rooms for $299 a night. To book, call the hotel directly at 732-922-9600 and press 0 to reach the front desk and mention the Reppy/Pagano room block. This is about a 15-minute or less drive to the beach in Asbury Park or Ocean Grove. **Please note rooms must be booked by May 17th before they are released to the public**

The Molly Pitcher Inn

The Molly Pitcher (about 30 minutes from Sandy Hook and about 20 minutes from Asbury Park) allowed us a small room block. The rates at this hotel are much more affordable than those by the beach but there will not be transportation to the venue from this location provided by us (you can Uber) This hotel is located in Red Bank which does have a lot of bars, restaurants, and things to do locally. *Must book by May 6th 2022 before rooms are released* Call reservations at 732-747-2500

Flight

Newark Airport (EWR)

Newark is the closest Airport to Asbury Park, where we recommend our guest stay. You can also hop on a train from the airport that will take you to the Jersey shore so you don't have to rent a car or Uber. If you're planning to visit New York, this airport is an option however you also may want to consider flying directly into the City at either JFK or LaGuardia. If you do use Newark to get to NYC, you can take a train into Penn Station from the Newark Airport.

Atlantic City Airport (ACY)

AC is a tiny little airport about 1 hour and 20 mins south of Asbury Park. It's a is a further drive than Newark but might be a good option if you're interested in exploring Atlantic City. There are not any good public transportation options from AC so you would likely need to rent a car.

Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN)

Trenton-Mercer Airport is another small and easy airport to navigate. They have limited flight options but sometimes you can score a good deal. This airport is about a 40 minute drive so you would need to rent a car.

Train

NJ Transit

NJ transit is a great way to get to and from Newark Airport. If traveling from Newark Airport, list Newark (EWR) as the Origin. You can list your destination as Asbury Park but you will likely have to transfer trains in Long Branch. Some people prefer to get off at Long Branch and Uber from there. Note that it's possible there are transfers in other towns.
