What are South Carolina and your venue's regulations regarding Covid-19?

Answer

Please refer to the "Travel" page as well as South Carolina's DHEC website. These will have the most up-to-date information regarding this particular topic.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The first week of December in Greenville is in the 50s statistically. However, we also will have fire pits and heaters available for warmth in the outdoor patio area as it gets colder throughout the evening.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both are taking place at Aurora Farms Event Venue: 1045 Milford Church Road, Taylors, SC 29687

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Most of the evening will be indoors; however, there is an outdoor area available to mingle and where the cocktail hour will take place.

Are there other wedding events that I can attend over the weekend?

Answer

Yes! We'll be having a welcome happy hour on Friday and send off social on Sunday. See "Schedule" for details.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding though, please let us know as soon as possible by RSVPing to our invitation, so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

To get to the venue, use your phone's mapping system with the address referenced above. See "Travel".

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive a half an hour to a full hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time, and we can get the party started as scheduled! The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm.

Where should guests park? Is it free and is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Parking is free and is directly in front of the venue near the wheelchair accessible ramp.

Are kids and dates welcome?

Answer

Kids and dates are both welcome! However, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block and shuttle for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes! Please see "Travel".

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is by November 1st and should be communicated through the card sent with the invitation.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? If so, what kind?

Answer

Following the ceremony, an array of heavy hors d'oeuvres as well as beer and wine will be served.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes! We've tried to accommodate all diets and palettes on our menu.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Absolutely! We encourage guests to take and post pictures and use our hashtag (#eatdrinkandbeMartorell). Our only request is that you don't during the ceremony; we'd like to keep this special time "unplugged".
