SFC Farmers' Market Downtown
Located in historic Republic Square, the downtown Austin farmers' market has been serving the community since 2003. Open every Saturday from 9am to 1pm. Maggie's favorite weekend activity is browsing farmers markets, so go enjoy the smells, live music, and yummy food!
South Congress
This is our favorite street in Austin! With an amazing view of the Texas Capitol, it's a walkable avenue with incredible restaurants, the best shopping, lively bars, and constant live music and street performers. Austin wouldn't be the same without South Congress. It's a must stroll!
Boardwalk on Lady Bird Lake
This trail is the perfect morning walk along Austin's famous Lady Bird Lake. There's a full 10.2 mile loop along the water right in downtown. You'll meet walkers, runners, bikers, dog lovers, and the sweetest families!
Güero's Taco Bar
This is our favorite tex-mex stop in Austin. The building is one of the earliest structures in south Austin and used to be home to the Feed & Seed store, back in the day. The restaurant has the best outdoor area, live music, and incredible selection of salsas from their all-you-can-eat salsa bar.
Two Hands Coffee
Our favorite coffee shop on one of the best streets to explore in Austin! John's coffee order: Vanilla Latte. Maggie's coffee order: Light Roast Blend w a splash of almond milk :)
Allens Boots
Allens Boots opened its doors in 1977. A popular shopping destination for famous musicians, movie stars, and celebrities, the shop has more than 4,000 boots representing 12 manufacturers and is home to the largest selection of boots under one roof in the WORLD!
Texas Capitol
We love our home state! Check out the beautiful grounds of the state capitol. Construction = Progress ;)
LBJ Presidential Library
The iconic ten-story building was designed by award-winning architect Gordon Bunshaft and features a Great Hall with a four-story, glass-encased view of the archives collection. There are also several incredible exhibits open year-round. Free admission on Memorial Day!

Jo's Coffee
Stop by this South Congress staple to grab a cup of jo. Don't forget to snap a picture by the iconic "I love you so much" mural!
Barton Springs Pool
This natural pool boasts 68-70 degree water year-round. It's the best way to cool off on a hot day!

Rainey Street Historic District
Rainey Street is one of the most iconic nightlife scenes in Austin. The first bar to open in Rainey was Lustre Pearl located in an old home. Not too long after, other homes converted into bars and now the area is full of restaurants, bars, hotels, food trucks, and more!
Zilker Metropolitan Park
This is the best recreational area in the city. Publicly owned, it comprises over 350 acres in the heart of downtown, right off Lady Bird Lake.
