We first met in January of 2020 after a few of our mutual friends encouraged John to introduce himself in the dining hall at UVA. We then (not-so-accidentally) ran into each other at the same time, same place for about a month afterward, and sat together for lunch every time. After several weeks of cafeteria run-ins and long convos, we went on our first date in February of 2020! After 4+ years together, we're amazed at how quickly the time has flown by. At the same time, it feels like we've gone through so much life together: so much change, countless adventures, many laughs, several tears...we've celebrated, we've mourned, we've fallen, we've picked each other back up, we've danced, we've cried some more, we've made some of the sweetest friends, we've traveled, we've grown a LOT. Jesus has been our anchor throughout it all. We have so much faith, as we promise a lifetime to one another, that God will sustain, protect, and strengthen our marriage as we lean on Him. We cannot wait to spend forever together as we learn more about God's gift of marriage, what it means to walk in faith, love each other, love our Creator, and live in this crazy, wonderful world we call home. From the bottom of our hearts, we are so very grateful you're making the trip to Austin to celebrate and witness our marriage. All of you have played such wonderful roles in each of our lives, and we're so excited to have our people in one place! We love you all. Thank you for everything! XO, John & Maggie
