A few wedding weekend updates!! We are so excited to see you all and celebrate in a couple short weeks. Swimming: We will have a lifeguard on duty at the camp beach during the following hours, so bring your swim gear. Friday: 4p-6p (dinner starts at 6pm) Saturday: 10a-3p (ceremony starts at 430p) The beach is off limits except when a lifeguard is on duty, so please plan accordingly. Sunday breakfast: We are happy to feed and caffeinate everyone and anyone who stumbles in on Sunday morning, but wanted to make sure everyone knew what to expect... This is going to be a VERY casual breakfast (think costco muffins, fruit, yogurt, coffee) as we clean up and pack up after the festivities. All are welcome, but if you don't want to drive all the way back to camp from town we totally understand. COVID: As this is an outdoor event, we are not requesting that fully vaccinated adults wear a mask. HOWEVER, please stay home if you are feeling ill! We are leaving it up to individual families whether they want their kiddos to wear a mask. Lodging: as a reminder, the camp does not allow for RV/camper van/tent camping on site. There are plenty of cabins still available to reserve if you are looking to stay at the camp! See our website "lodging" tab for reservation info. Dress code: Pacific Northwest casual chic. Think slacks + button up, jackets optional for the guys, summery sundresses/rompers/etc for the ladies. Or whatever makes you feel comfy and ready to celebrate! The camp is mostly grass, with some sloped dirt paths so choose your footwear wisely. Bring your swimsuit if you want to cool off beforehand!
We met while Joe was in nursing school and Libby was in medical school in Seattle. Joe liked that Libby wasn't afraid to ride bikes in the rain. Libby liked that Joe knew the lyrics to every Taylor Swift song. Rudy liked that Joe doesn't have a beard and fed him as many treats as he wanted. Despite a move to Tacoma, the demands of residency and the revelation that Libby is actually very whiny about the rain, we managed to spend time together doing the things we love best. Joe proposed at the beautiful Vantage overlook of the Columbia River after tricking Libby into picking the romantic spot herself. We now live in Spokane, WA and are so excited for you to join us in celebrating our future life together!
Well, who could have predicted THIS???We rescheduled our original 2020 date (now scheduled for August 7, 2021!!!) because we didn't feel comfortable asking friends and family to gather in these unsure times. We wish we could hug you all tight, but we would rather miss you than get you sick! Wash your hands, wear a mask, and stay safe out there <3 We know it seems BONKERS to be planning a party right now, but we are hopeful that with social distancing, responsible mask usage, vaccination and the great outdoors, we can have a fun & safe celebration.
A lot has changed in the past year, including our little family! We welcomed Remy Douglas Early to the Redline-Early clan in the wee hours of 2/25/2021 and he has been tugging at our heartstrings ever since.
