South Lake Tahoe
South Lake Tahoe is a bit of a trek from Placerville (about an hour), but well worth the trip! The crystal clear lake is without a doubt one of the major, and one of the most beautiful, attractions in the area! It's perfect for a hike or to bundle up on the lake shore.
Apple Hill
Apple Hill is just down the road from the wedding venue. Although mostly popular in fall with a large abundance of apple orchards owned by different farmers, it's a fun visit year round! Our favorite year-round farms are High Hill Ranch and Boa Vista Orchards.
Land Ocean (LO) Restaurant Folsom
If staying in Folsom, a fantastic spot for both brunch and dinner is Land Ocean. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
The Mimosa House
Another amazing brunch spot is The Mimosa House in Folsom. Over a dozen types of mimosas and a huge breakfast menu!
Vina Castellano Winery
Looking for some amazing wineries without making a trip over to Napa or paying their more expensive tasting fees? Auburn is a great location for wineries! Vina Castellano is a particularly cozy den with delicious wines.
