How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

It was a classic love story. Boy meets boy on Hinge. They go on some dates (one boy is incredibly late to the first one). A global pandemic emerges. The boys hunker down (one with family, the other with his cat). They keep in touch via Zoom, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and online Oregon Trail. As the world reemerges and the boys get to see each other again, they realize (after an absurd amount of ice cream) that they are in love. Those boys…were us.

Our adventures haven’t slowed, from getting winded on hikes in Denver, to dodging hurricanes in D.C., to COVID quarantining in Wales, to building bookcases in Somerville.

This past September, we got engaged in Siena. It was very low key: Thomas proposed to Chris during an 11-mile walking tour of historic gates, and Chris proposed to Thomas the next day by recreating important moments in our relationship (and in Chris’s Italian summer in 2014). We also ate a lot of pasta.

We are excited to celebrate with you all and see where the future takes us!
