Ravello in May is a beautiful time of year. The average high is about 75 degrees Fahrenheit with an average low of 57 degrees Fahrenheit. Most days are sunny, however there is a 23% chance of rain at this time of year. We would recommend definitely packing a light sweater for the early mornings and evenings if you usually get cold! Also please know there are plenty of shops in town in case if you forgot something and need to purchase anything! Here is the current forecast for our wedding week, but of course this is absolutely subject to change! Monday May 19th: Cloudy/Chance of Rain High of 72 Low of 58 Tuesday May 20th: Sunny with Clouds High of 74 Low of 59 Wednesday May 21st: Sunny High of 74 Low of 60 Thursday May 22nd: Sunny with some Clouds High of 76 Low of 61 Friday May 23rd: Sunny with some Clouds High of 77 Low of 61 Saturday May 24th: Sunny with some Clouds High of 77 Low of 60 Sunday May 25th: Sunny with some Clouds/Chance of Rain High of 75 Low of 60
Ravello is approximately 1 hour from the Naples Airport and Naples Train Station. There are a few options: 1) the SITA bus is a very cheap way to get to Ravello (few euros per person), 2) you can take a private car from Naples to Ravello, about 150 euros each way, 3) our planner and I can help arrange transportation for groups -- they have vans that seat up to 12 people (please contact me if you're interested in this), 4) you can actually get from Naples to Amalfi by boat and hop in a taxi for the 10 minute drive from Amalfi to Ravello. We have never personally travelled this way, but we're sure it could be a scenic way to get to Ravello!
Of course!! We plan to get to Ravello approximately a week prior. While we will be relatively low key in preparation for our big day, we will have a few fun things planned and would welcome you to join us!
While we love your children and understand the challenges that come with this being an international wedding, we have chosen to keep our special day and entire schedule adults only, so we politely request no children. We thank you for your understanding.
