What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:45pm, in time to catch the sunset over the marsh. Our wedding will take place on a Friday, so please be mindful of rush-hour commuter traffic when planning your arrival.

Our time at the Creek Club will end promptly at 10pm.

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking available but ride-sharing (Uber/Lyft) is highly encouraged and will be easy to get when leaving. Parking for the Creek Club is located in a lot on N Shelmore Blvd. (just after Hospitality St.) - the parking lot will be on your right as you arrive and is labeled with signs reading "Event Parking." The parking lot is less than a 5 minute walk to the venue and there will be golf cart service to shuttle you to the Creek Club. Please do not park in the lot directly to the right of the venue - this is parking for neighborhood home owners only and you will be towed. A police officer will be present to direct you.

What should I wear?

Please dress in Winter Garden Formal attire - we would prefer long formal dresses for women and dark suits, with tuxedos being optional, for men. The theme of the event is Winter Garden so lean into any floral patterns and bold colors. Remember, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside in December so please dress accordingly.

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you are traveling from out of town, we recommend staying in Downtown Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, or one of the surrounding islands, Sullivan's Island or Isle of Palms. Downtown and Mt. Pleasant offer many hotels and some Airbnbs - expect to spend 15-25 minutes driving to the venue. Sullivan's and Isle of Palms are residential and are more likely to have larger homes to rent - expect to take 20-30 minutes driving to the venue. We do not have any hotel blocks - please stay where you feel most comfortable!
