What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the ceremony at least 15 minutes early. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm.

Will the cocktail hour and reception be open bar?

Absolutely!!

Do you have any suggested hotels?

Answer

We do! Please refer to the "Travel" page of our website for our recommendations and links to each hotel for booking.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Sport coats and cocktail attire are where it's at, however we want you to be comfortable. All events are inside. Bring your dancing shoes!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We want our wedding to be your night off! So we've chosen to make it an adults-only celebration.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be limited parking at the venue. The ceremony and reception venues will be on the same property. We encourage everyone to consider either walking or parking at Old Edwards Inn and taking the complimentary shuttle to the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Shuttle service to the Wedding Venue will pick up on the corner of Church Street and South 4th Street, outside of the Hummingbird Lounge as well as 200 Main, beside the pool deck starting at 4:15. They will make a couple of trips. Return transportation starting at 9pm with continual trips.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Can I book my accommodations outside of Highlands?

Answer

Of course, just please keep in mind that the mountain roads are windy. You'll be driving slower with more challenges, especially at night. Also, Lyft and Uber do not exist in the Highlands. For the best experience, we recommend staying in or near Highlands. We want you to fully enjoy the mountain weekend without spending too much time on the road. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities!
