Asheville Airport (AVL)

The Asheville Airport (AVL) is the closest airport to our wedding. It's about 20 minutes from downtown AVL. You'll need a rental car or Uber to get from the airport into the city. We recommend an Uber because downtown is very walkable once you're there.

Charlotte Airport (CLT)

If you're looking for a cheaper flight option, check out flying into the Charlotte airport. It's about 2 hours from Asheville, so you would need to rent a car.

Getting to Asheville via car? Here are some basic directions: • From the NC Triangle - Follow I-40 (less than 4 hours) • From Baton Rouge, LA - Take I-85 N (11 hours + 1 hour time change) • From Birmingham, AL - Drive on I-59 N, I-75 N and I-40 E (5.5 hours + 1 hour time change)
