Why Asheville, NC (AVL)?
Answer
Asheville, NC was our first trip together as a couple, and we immediately fell in love with the area. It has unique parts of town, beautiful surrounding mountains, and delicious food. We especially love to travel to this area for some of the best hiking/camping we've done. Morgan gets her city fill, and Ian enjoys the nature that surrounds it! PS - Ian proposed to Morgan at the Biltmore Mansion, which is in south AVL.
Question
Where should I stay in the AVL area?
Answer
The wedding is on the east side of Asheville. There are some hotels nearby that area, but we recommend staying downtown because of its walkability to food, shopping, and more. However, if you are more focused on staying close to the venue, near mountains, or near the Biltmore, by all means, find a place where you'd like!
