We adore children, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this allows everyone to relax and enjoy the festivities.
Our ceremony will incorporate Jewish traditions that are meaningful to us, such as a chuppah, breaking the glass, and the hora. As part of the ceremony, men are welcome to wear a yarmulke (kippah). Kippot will be available at the ceremony for anyone who wishes to wear one. Here's a quick guide to jewish traditions you will see at the wedding: https://romemu.org/wp-content/uploads/Romemu-Wedding-Symbols-4.pdf
Dress codes for each event are listed under each event.
We recommend using Uber for transportation during your stay. If you choose to take a taxi, be sure to confirm the fare before getting in. Many taxis in the area operate without a taximeter, so you'll need to negotiate the fare prior to getting in the cab. Never hail a cab from the street; instead, contact Satelital (taxi service) via phone at 322-2222 . To avoid this hassle, we suggest using the Uber rideshare service instead.
1) WhatsApp: Download WhatsApp before traveling. It’s the primary communication method in Colombia, widely used by individuals and businesses alike (including hotels and restaurants), and is helpful for coordinating transportation and staying in touch with contacts during your travel. 2) Airalo: Consider downloading Airalo, which lets you install an international eSIM on your phone (typically under $10 USD for 3 days). This provides mobile data access outside of Wi‑Fi, if you anticipate needing it. *Check with your phoe carrier to ensure your phone plan is eligible for an eSim first*
