Question

Will there be transportation provided from any of the hotels?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a shuttle to and from the Best Western Plus Kingston Hotel as well as the Courtyard Marrtiott. Given only a few folks are staying at the Courtyard Marriott, there will only be one round of pick up at 4:30pm to bring you to the venue before the ceremony starts. There will then be shuttle services back to the Courtyard Marriott at the end of the reception and after party. For the Best Western Plus, there will be 2 rounds of pick up before the ceremony (4:45pm and 5pm) to bring you all to the venue. There will then be continuous rounds of shuttling back to the Best Western Plus from the venue after the reception as well as from the after party bar at the very end of the night.

Will any of the wedding be outside?

Answer

Yes! Pending rain, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. The reception of course will take place inside, but the ceremony & cocktail hour are outside on grass.

What is the attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire! Long dresses for women are preferred, but cocktail dresses, little black dresses, dressy jumpsuits are all great! Suits, jackets and slacks are also fab choices.

What's the parking situation?

Answer

There is parking! There are four municipal lots located within a 1-mile radius of the Senate Garage. The main parking lot is located adjacent to the building at the bottom of the hill. Metered parking is located along most city streets, and meters are free after 6pm Mon-Fri, as well as fully free on the weekends. 3 of the parking lots will be along North Front Street and the 4th lot is by John Street.
