Update: In light of COVID-19, we wanted to check in and let you know your health and safety are our top priority. Having recently come down with Covid ourselves, we are encouraging everyone to test prior to arrival, and to mask up to your comfort level.

FAQs

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to either Stephanie (Mother of the Bride) at 509-430-3515
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The 30th of August! this is when we have to lock in our head count with the venue and vendors. Make sure to include any plus ones!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress up but dress comfy. We will be outdoors for the wedding and indoor/outdoor for the reception, so the majority will be on grass or inside the retreat center! We're also putting a D&D spin on our wedding so fantasy elements are welcome.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! please make sure to add them to your headcount when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Let us know if you need any accommodations for you and your littles (space to breastfeed/pump, food allergies or requirements, etc.) and we will do out best to accommodate them. There will be plenty of lawn games on the property and activities to keep them entertained.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions, please email the Maid of Honor Grace at ghartwig2001@gmail.com - we will also be posting vendor information as we get closer to the wedding so you can check the menu and confirm any additional needs. UPDATE: Our vendor will be Arbia woodfired pizza providing dinner and appetizers. Dinner will be a selection of meat and vegetarian wood fired pizzas, with salad, antipasti skewers, and caprese.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We would recommend hotels in Bellingham, Oak Harbor, Mount Vernon, or Anacortes. A comprehensive list will be added to the travel page as we connect with available hotels. UPDATE: we currently have rooms blocked at the candlewood suites in Oak Harbor. Please see the travel page for more details, and contact Gabriela Galvin at gspgalvin@gmail.com if you have questions about the reservation process
